This has been a much better week than last week for me. Last week was full of many disappointments, and this week has been full of hopeful possibilities.

I was called into work on Monday at the school, I have a ton of course paperwork done, and I made contacts with some new people. I also hung out with friends this week, had two interviews, and was told that I may be offered my old job back at the restaurant (tips, and evening working hours!).

I also had two interviews with a retail job, whom seem very, very interested in me as a hire. I've pulled out all the stops for this one and am trying to charm the high heels right off these people. Someone PLEASE hire me!! I need the money!

Since I've been doing all of that, though, I have NOT been doing other things. I thought that I would post this, so that I have a list to work against...

This weekend I must:

()Finish the unit for my Tesl 31 course

----() Read two journal articles
----() Post on discussion Board --On hold because the prof is a controlling douche and can't put up the question, since he's extended the last questions deadline.

() Go to Baby shower on Sunday
() Get started on one of the two fics that I owe

My brain is so fried.

This course is stressing my out like crazy. There's also something that needs to be done, paper-work wise. I have to submit where I'm doing my exams (since I'm doing it correspondence) like, next week, and it's not exam time for another three months??! What the heck, course. What. The. Heck.

I've been up to my elbows in course work, hoping for new job (which has not called me to say when I start yet... *is getting nervous now*), doing the financial juggle, planning out a practicum placement, trying to work on someone to proctor my exams, and also trying to get assignments and things done EARLY so that I am not stressed while training for said new job...

I don't even want to LOOK at my laptop screen anymore! Gah.


Someone tell me something uplifting, happy, random enough to make laugh, or point me to a fic which will make me smile? Please?

Today, me, Amanda, Katie and Justin went out for lunch at a sushi place. enjoyed thoroughly.

Then Amanda and I went to a job fair, gave out some resumes.

I have an interview tomorrow with a call-center place. Not the best job, but, I really, really, really need the money right now. I can't live -hell, I can barely afford transportation!- with the small amount of supply work that I get. So, I could really use the job, even if they DO only keep me for a month or something!

Wish my luck at the interview!

Hello everyone! Only 4 sleeps until Christmas (And 4 sleeps until Doctor Who, 4 sleeps until jess_eklom arrives to spend Christmas with us, and 3 sleeps until my birthday!) I've sent out all my holiday cards, and I've gotten word that some people have received them!

I want to thank atellix(whose oddly spelled lj name made me re-edit this entry like, four times to get the proper link), yanagi_wa who made a gorgeous watercolour holly! (And Holly's my FAVOURITE!), and especially the incredibly talented aquerna for the Christmas cards that you've sent me, and I have received! THANK YOU!

(and Aquerna... Oh my GOD, your card was just... beautiful! You must have spent HOURS on that! It's so fantastic that I would really love to frame it. not joking! I've been looking for a frame in the correct size since I got it. What fantastic work!)

Summary: AU. 3x4, 1x2 hints. The well known tale starts that there was once a shoemaker who was down to his last piece of leather and then elves came to help him, but what people don’t know is that there was a lot more going on than those Grimm brothers knew about. But I knew what was going on. I was there. I guess I can tell you the story...



( The real story began in a small garden out back of the sleepy little town, where a young orphan boy was stealing carrots for his dinner )

(  Trowa always said that he could look after Quatre if he were there, but... the more he read from his friend, the more he worried that Trowa needed more looking after than Quatre did. )

Well... I was lazy and not in the mood to write fic today, but, I didn't want to give up my Lemon Advent goal. I fail NaNoWriMo so I'm making it up by posting SOMETHING each day (hopefully) for lemon advent. Today it's a drawing.
